This Jurutungo full natural coffee was sourced from the growing region of Piedra Candela in Panama. On the border of Costa Rica, at 1800-2100 meters above sea level, Jurutungo is poised smack in the middle of the growing region judged to be among the finest in the world--where the Pacific Ocean almost kisses the Carribean Sea.
Graciano Cruz is an operator of the farm. Coming from a family dating back to the founders of Boquete village over 100 years ago, Graciano Cruz grew up surrounded by coffee culture. He has always been extremely passionate about agricultural science constantly working to understand the interrelations of plants, soil and environment. He was the first officially certified organic coffee farmer in Panama.
Roasted to a medium-dark for increased chocolate, a bit of lingering fruit, fuller body.
